Our Delivery Policy:
All Preowned Merchandise will be delivered in 3 to 4 weeks time. It takes us up to 2 weeks to get the merchandise shipped from here. At that point you may have the merchandise shipped by ground (up to 10 working days delivery); 2day (2 working days); 1 day (1 working day); or 3 day (3 working days).
All new in stock merchandise takes up to 2 working days to ship out of here. At that point you may choose which ever of the above time periods are convenient for you.
All merchandise ordered new from the manufacturers takes at least 8 weeks to be received. If there is a further delay we will notify you.
New Christmas orders will be charged at the time we
order them from the manufacturer. Delivery may be longer than 8 weeks.
However since these are manufactured in limited numbers, we recommend you
place your orders early to guarantee receipt in time for the following
Christmas. |
Condition:
Our preowned silverware comes to you, looking like new in unsealed Silver Queen Plastic bags.
New silverware comes to you new in sealed manufacturer's bags. |
Returns & exchange policy:
As a customer of the Silver Queen Inc, you have 10 days upon receipt of a purchase to return or exchange any item. You will have to fill out a form that was included in your order and attach it to the package you send back to us.
If a refund check or credit on charge account is desired it will be at the full purchase price less shipping and handling. |
Pre-owned silverware and dinnerware:
If you ordered silverware or dinnerware and it is not up to your satisfaction because it does not match your current set, then please send it back for an exchange or for a full refund less shipping and handling. Sorry, we can not refund your original shipping and handling or return freight on what it costs you to send back.

New silverware, dinnerware or gifts:
All new merchandise must be returned in original condition with all boxes and in original unopened plastic. We can exchange the merchandise or refund the original purchase price less shipping and handling. Any new merchandise not returned in original condition and packaging may be subject to a 15% re-stocking fee.
Shipping/ warehouse error:
When it is obvious that our company made an error as in:
� Was shipped someone else's order.
� Received something other than was originally ordered.
Please send back the shipment and we will gladly exchange or refund it. We will refund or credit you your freight and handling charges in returning the items to us, please indicate to us what these were for proper credit. |
Note: If you place an order with us for place settings or other pieces and they don't match your set's pieces, this is not considered by us a mistake on our part. We try our very best to always help our customers when ordering to match as closely as possible to make sure that the pieces we send will match the pieces in the customers original sets. Unfortunately, it's not always possible to accomplish this due to several reasons:
� Our customers don't always know the exact measurements of the pieces when placing an order.
� Many customers indicate dinner size which is a common expression, but often is not always the correct size given most patterns have 3 sizes dinner, place or luncheon.
� There often variations in sizes and weights with pieces especially in patterns that have been made for 100 years or more. The die lots can change slightly over the years which cause minuscule variations with weights and sizes from sets made by the manufacturers that can't be detected unless put next to other pieces. When on the dinner table guests can't tell the difference, but when in the silver chest some of these minor variances may be more noticeable. A small minority of customers demand that all pieces be 100% identical to each other
and often with older sets it's virtually impossible to achieve this. We can still accept any pieces back for any reason due to wrong with sizes or gauges, but alas, we can only refund the original purchase price less shipping and handling.

We accept Mastercard, Visa, American Express, & Discover. We charge your
card when we order the item from the manufacturer or send the preowned item
for cleaning. Our delivery schedule is shown above. |

Our online ordering system is
not directly on line. Our instore data base will take precedence over
any errors in our online database.

We do not guarantee that we will have items in
stock to fill orders taken via the net. At this time we can only guarantee orders
taken over the phone by our friendly salespeople.

Made to order patterns:
Even though many patterns of silverware, china &
crystal are discontinued by the companies, they are not all made obsolete.
When they are made obsolete the dies or molds are destroyed & the pattern is
never made again. But when a pattern has been discontinued but not
obsoleted, from time to time the pattern may be
made again.
However it is not profitable for the
companies to make one piece. Either they charge many times the value
of the piece or they hold the orders until they get enough to make
manufacturing worth their while.
When we order from them, it is a contract
that we can not break. Therefore we require the same contract from our
customers. Payment is made at the time of the order. There is
no return except for damage.
Unfortunately, there have been times where
the companies do not get enough orders. They cancel our contract. We refund
the money to our customer.
Our recommendation is instead of "Made to Order", you wait until a
preowned piece shows up or you select another pattern that contrasts with
your pattern.
